From Manhattan to the Brazilian Amazon


This summer, George Washington University's Planet Forward program led a group of students from universities nationwide down to the Amazon Biodiversity Center's Camp 41 to experience the living, breathing rainforest for themselves and to tell its story. While there, Zachary G. B. Smith from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry interviewed Dr. Lovejoy, asking the question "How did a boy from Manhattan become a scientist who made the rainforest his life’s work?":
