What is a trip to Camp 41 like? (video)

The Amazon Biodiversity Center has four camps within its research reserve deep in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, north of Manaus, Brazil in the state of Amazons. The camps are the heart of the Center's cutting edge research and conservation training programs. A couple times a year, Founder Dr. Thomas Lovejoy offers a select group of lucky individuals a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend three days and nights at "Camp 41" -- so named because it is at the 41st kilometer marker on the reserve road -- where they can experience the living, breathing ecosystem that is the Amazon Rainforest for themselves.
